Hearing Cheslocks comment, he nodded and stepped back, looking at the canteen. “Ah your right, Cheslock. We’ve been barking on at the door long enough. Come on, chows on me,” he said knowing that it was more or less free, except of course the good stuff. “Feel I can get us a nice bottle of amasec, some of its still left over by the old nobles.” He walked in, moving up to the food line and getting himself a serving of pretty much everything, before slipping a folded note to one of the cooks. The cook looked at it for a moment, nodding as he put it in his pocket before anyone noticed. "lead the way lieutenant", cheslock said, following behind luca and krast with her servo skulls in tow. reaching the foodline the metasurgeon took a moment to survey the scene, noting the ogryn she had seen earlier along with poor lucas who had become the abhumans' chaperone, there was also an arbitrator and- at that point she froze. "..impossible.." she exclaimed out loud as her gaze settled on one individual. no, improbable. cheslock then corrected mentally, meeting krast luca and lucas was one thing but this...she wasn't quite prepared for. but as highly unlikely as it was there was no denying what her helms senses were showing her. Master of Ordnance Douglas De Grotto, in the flesh as she stood there frozen the 2nd servo skull - Wesley - had also spotted the Master of Ordnance, and before she could say anything the skull let out what could best be described as a chirp before doing a loop the loop on the spot and promptly sped right over to De Grotto as fast as his gravatic motors would allow, playing his musical roller while going in circles around the older mans head.

Finishing the document he was reading, De Grotto laid it down and once more assessed his meal. It was good, but staying here only distracted him from his work. Deciding to take both meal and paperwork back to headquarters to chew over it there, De Grotto stood up to make his way. Yet something, or more someone caught his eye. A Cadian, no mistake about it. A rare and respectable sight, yet something seemed.. familiar about the individual. Before he could even process his thoughts properly, the Cadian was joined by a Lucifer Black! An even rarer sight and one he had only seen once before. His head started to spin. It couldn't be, he didn't even have to run through the calculations to know how improbable it was for them to be here. This must be it. His deepest fear and what others had been whispering behind his back for too long now. His age must be catching him, if it gets any worse, he might see... at that point she froze. "..impossible.." she exclaimed out loud as her gaze settled on one individual. no, improbable. cheslock then corrected mentally, meeting krast luca and lucas was one thing but this...she wasn't quite prepared for. De Grotto froze. To all those who may notice, the elderly Master of ordinances was as still as a statue. His face frozen agape as if he may have had a stroke. One guardsman, passing with his own meal, paused as he noticed the officer. Unsure of what was happening, he waved a hand in front of the older man's face to see if he could get a reaction. And that he did. The statue suddenly animated, wrapping an arm around the guardsman's head and flinging him to the group. Meal and all. With a lurch, De Grotto began to move towards cheslock. He didn't even register that he nudged his table, sending his paperwork scattering into his meal and to the floor. He moved like a train in a shunting yard. Slowly, but in a way that people wouldn't stand in his way. as she stood there frozen the 2nd servo skull - Wesley - had also spotted the Master of Ordnance, and before she could say anything the skull let out what could best be described as a chirp before doing a loop the loop on the spot and promptly sped right over to De Grotto as fast as his gravatic motors would allow, playing his musical roller while going in circles around the older mans head. Wesley only got to circle thrice around De Grotto before the officer seized the servo skull by the face. "Shut it Wesley." He simply stated as he approached cheslock. As he stopped, there was a moment of silence. Is lips visibly trembled as he finally found his voice. "Jane. Is it really you?".

Cassidy, being an Arbite for quite sometime is quite used to crowds being intimidated or upset at his presence. Disappointing of course but expected. He takes his drink and begins to slowly make his way through the crowd. Arbites aren’t technically ever off duty, so he keeps his eyes out for trouble or illicit dealings, though he isn’t actively hunting for them. Of course his eyes fall on the large Ogryn. They usually stand out in the crowd, much like himself. He smiles as he would a small child, at least one that could rip his arms off if he angered, “Hello, friend. I’m sure I have a Junior Arbitrator Sticker if you’d like one.” He then notices poor Lucas, “I have one for you, young man if you’d like one as well.”
Badork stared at the Arbite for a few seconds as he chewed his food loudly.
"BADORK been told not to talk to Arbites, but stickers is stickers so I won't smash you this time." and he held out his hand expectantly.

“Then I won’t take up too much of your time,” Cassidy smiles as he digs into a pouch on his belt, “As a fellow Enforcer of the Emperor’s Holy Law, it would be wrong of me to make you disobey your superior.” He pulls out a small envelope with a couple stickers in it. They all look like simplified versions of an Arbites badge only with the words ‘Junior Arbitrator’ written underneath it. Cassidy offers one to Badork, “Would you rather wear it or save it for your sticker book?” He tries to keep an friendly and non-threatening approach to the Ogryn. While many arbites like to shoot first and use force, Cassidy has always found that being friendly... ...well truthfully it wasn't more efficient. But he preferred to take the less aggressive route when he could. And maybe showing how he can get along with the Ogryn, hopefully it will cause the rest to be less bothered by his presence.

After loading his plate, and pocketing the small bottle of hard liquor the chef pulled out for him, he made his way over to where Luca was standing, when suddenly a group of guard let out a shout. He looked over, somewhat expecting a fight when he saw eyes like a sharks on a face like a gargoyle. Krast blinked, and spoke before he had fully processed what was happening.
"DeGrotto? You're still alive?" he barked out, then closed his jaw with a click. The old master of ordinance was on a steady path towards Jane, and only the sudden appearance of one of her servoskulls slowed him down. He looked over to Luca, still surprised that he'd seen so many familiar faces here. Throne above, maybe he hadn't made it off of Cadia in time...

Luca just turned looking over at Krast as he blinked a moment gulping as he saw the beaked old man approaching. "I uh... Krast you think he remembers us too?" Luca added remembering the old the man's booming voice well. "Maybe we should... Uh give'em privacy? To many familiar faces all at once might stop the old mans ticker." He added trying to reason a way clear of the situation, even with Krast present as an officer neither of them wanted to stare down the old Penguin and Luca had saved his life once.
"Cheslock were... Gonna grab a table why don't you catch up with Degrotto awhile." He stepped back towards Krast then jerked his head towards a a regicide board a bit away from all this they could set the trays on and maybe get clear of the two. It was clear this was more than just old friends reuniting and he did not wanna dare interrupt Degrotto... Or get worse than what Wesley got. Besides he had to know if Tick was still around... Literally his life may depend on it.

BADORK - Corporal 87th Mordian
Badork's eyes lit up when the Arbite held out the envelope. He clapped his hands together with glee.
"Wear it of course!" He boomed and took the proffered sticker.
He stuck it to his chest (upside down) and ginned from ear to ear.
"You sit here with BADORK now!" He said to the Arbite, "This is Ickle Ickle George." pointing to Lucas by way of introduction.

“Oh, of course,” Cassidy is taken by surprise at the Ogryn’s sudden friendly demeanor but it isn’t a negative outcome, but rather a welcome one. Ogryn’s may be considered slow witted, but that usually makes them honest and cheerful drinking mates. Provided they don’t drink anything stronger than a pop. Cassidy takes a seat at the table, still giving the Ogryn a smile, “Thank you for the invitation. I’m Arbitrator MacKinnen.”

The Master of Ordinance lowered his stance and braced to catch the fainting tech priestess, but found himself empty handed. But as she raised her helm something even more unexpected happened. Something most people who knew De Grotto would think impossible of happening happened. De Grotto smiled. But not just a bend of the lips. It was a warm smile which somehow soften his hard eyes a facial features. But the look only lasted a moment as he snapped back to reality. De Grotto's normal frown returned as he straightened up. He took in the surrounding scene and the path of destruction behind him. "I .. I'm sorry Priestess." He finally managed. "I seemed to have caused a disruption.".

"No idea if he does, but I wouldn't put it past him to remember everyone from Naris," Those who made it out ,"he met. But yeah, I'm feeling like I'm walking through a old pic-capture of that front." He felt a bit pale and suppressed a groan as his side wound started flaring up. Frakking thing always did that at random. Maybe Cheslock could take a look at it later, when she was done talking with DeGrotto. He walked over to the regicide board with Luca, grabbing one of the chairs set aside for officers with slightly cushier padding than the normal ones, and sat down in a heap. He practically dropped his tray on to the board, ignoring any of the pieces he may have knocked off. Rubbing his side absentmindedly and cursed, frowning at nothing in the distance. "Eye Burn this damn wound, and those frakking Blueskin suits." he muttered, realized he was actively rubbing the spot infront of others, and quickly pulled his hand away. Coughing to change the subject he started for his plate and looked to Luca. "So, Terra boy, what has the Emperor thrown at you since Naris? You got those stripes somehow, and I know you Terrans already brownnose too much for that to help." He said, trying to sound light hearted.

Savin Devereaux rounds the corner of a table and finds herself at eye level with the magnacles and stun baton on Cassidy’s belt. “Merde, gendarmes,” she mutters, spinning on her heel to hide the action of stuffing several bottles of contraband amasec into her flak vest. Clinking slightly, she starts to duck for the exit, but a perverse desire to cause trouble causes her the plop down on the bench next to the ogryn and “George.” “Mais, betta watch out now, long arm of the law just got some muscle!” She glances at Badork’s bucket, “you got anything to spare for me, cher? I’m near famished.”

You got those stripes somehow, and I know you Terrans already brownnose too much for that to help." He said, trying to sound light hearted. "Eighty-eight cohorts of things from the Eye of Terror." Luca answered as he sat down catching Krast's nearly spilled plate as it thumped on to the table. "Old wound still bugging you? I remember working out with when you were recovering from it." Luca set the it down then reached for his own meal, digging into it as he sighed. "Thought we had finally faced the end... Then the son of the Emperor turned up with the strangest reinforcements I've ever seen and turned it all around." He added with a straight face before cracking a smile. "After that I got moved into the Crusade Fleets." He added pointing a finger at Krast. "So other than my near death experiences against Daemons and witnessing Emperor's son returning to lead us how have you been in the... Frak how many years has it been for you? Feels like four to me." He added shaking his head pushing his red hair back. "So... How's your old unit? Your sarge still cooking? Tick still making bombs out of anything he can get his hands on?" He asked a couple questions of his own. "As for my rank... Well let's just say I earned a few promotions... Tell you what, I'll introduce to the unit let them tell story. I'm terrible at telling stories." He answered as he leaned back looking over at the other two. "It's... It's nice to see some people are still going after Naris... I admit I hated to leave without seeing the job through."

Allow me." De Grotto insisted as he began to set about re setting the tables and chairs he had knocked over, releasing Wesley from his vice like grip in the rush. Though dispite his Hussle, the old man was still out paced by the tech priestess and her bionic limbs. The Master of Ordinance's face remained a bright red throughout his labour. Whether it was from embarrassment or shy feelings, who could truly tell? Wesley floated down and played a tune beside its' old master. "Shut it Wesley." De Grotto hissed back under his breath. "And you better have been taking care of her in my absence! I'll be having words with you later." At the invitation from Cheslock, De Grotto gave a stiff and formal bow. "It would be my pleasure." He replied. "Just let be grab my own meal and.. paperwork and I'll be with you shortly.". With this, he hurriedly set about gathering and cleaning all his rogue files and notes before returning with meal and papers in arms. He seated himself beside Cheslock just in time for Luca's question. "It's... It's nice to see some people are still going after Naris... I admit I hated to leave without seeing the job through." De Grotto fixed the Terran with a stern, and to those present, all to familiar stare. "In the Imperial Guard, it is usually custom for lower ranks to address their superiors by rank and at the very least, not in such a casual manner! I would have expected more of a man from not only such a respected regiment, but from Holy Terra itself!" Scolded De Grotto. Whether the old man had not noticed the younger man's current rank or was simply being senile, once more was anyone's guess...
