History:Born on Ulthwe, a young Maebh began her journey on the Path of the Artist. While she dabbled in painting and poetry, her true path was sculpting. Molding Wraithbone into works of Art was a talent Maebh seemed to possess almost naturally. There was a definite satisfaction with her works, a few being displayed to the public with much approval. However suddenly the inspiration for such pieces was gone. Other Artists tried at first to give advice to see if the artistic nature could be renewed, but it became clear that Maebh had reached the end of her path, despite her protest that the slump would disappear. Maebh began wandering from path to path, trying to find a new calling. However she could not find a true path as she did as an artist but no path of the artisan could give the inspiration to make more art. Many actually advised her against trying to return to the path of the artist as she was becoming too comfortable in it, perhaps even obsessed. But other paths she tread such as healer and service just seemed to not bring the same feelings. They always felt empty in comparison.
Maebh even tried turning to the Path of the Warrior but was turned away, as there was no destructive nature that needed to be tamed, just a longing to find a path to serve.
Dissatisfied, Maebh considered leaving the path altogether, taking up the path of the outcast. Before a decision could be made, Maebh was exposed to the call of Ynnari. A chance not only to prove worth to Ulthwe but all of Aeldari Kind. Leaving Ulthwe behind with a collection of like minded individuals, Maebh joined up with the Ynnari forces, and tasted battle for the first time. But in the bloodshed and carnage, a long forgotten feeling crept back into her heart. Inspiration. One of the Struggles of the Aeldari fighting not to survive but to save their race. And with no path to deny her, Maebh began to create again.
When Farseer Wyvara led a small host to The Mon’Keigh System of Haven, Maebh followed, though permission to do so is questionable.
Personality: Maebh, like many artists, is impulsive and hesitant at the same time. While she yearns for the chance to create art, she also fears returning to the path and becoming obsessed, though that may be too late for her already. She’s easily overwhelmed by strong emotions, those from outside or within. She struggles to balance passion and duty.
Like many who never truly stepped on the Path of the Warrior, Maebh has a hesitant trust of those who have, unsure how to approach or interact with them. This can also be said about Druhkari, as she finds them both horrifying yet fascinating as artistic subjects. Same for Harlequins.
While sculpting is Maebh’s passion, she also has minor skills in poetry, painting, and singing. She has also been trained in healing though is nowhere near a true expert.
