Name: Wyvara
Gender: Female
Species: Aeldari
Age: 428 Human Year equivalent
Height: 7 ft.
Weight: 110 lbs.
Allegiance: Ynnari
Rank/Occupation: Farseer
Notes: Usually has a bodyguard of Kabalites
Born: Craftworld Ulthwé
Languages Spoken: Aeldari, Low Gothic, High Gothic
Appearance:
Wyvara’s garb is fairly standard for a Farseer. She now wears the colors of the Ynnari with a black robe, red tunic, and bronze armor. Her gems and Spirit Stone remain the same turquoise ones she wore when she was part of Ulthwé. Though she is no longer part of the Craftworld and bears Ynnari symbology, if one looked close enough they could find a trinket or two bearing the Tear of Isha. Around her neck she wears a red, blue, and green Spirit Stone which hold the souls of Aeldari who have died and chose to remain with her to provide counsel. She also carries a satchel underneath her robes with Waystones to capture any Aeldari souls unfortunate enough to not have one.
Underneath the robes Wyvara looks like a fairly standard Asuryani Aeldari with a lithe figure and pale skin. Her face is a little soft for an Aeldari and bears a scar on her right cheek. However, it’s graced with a warm smile and bright blue eyes. Her straight blonde hair falls just below her shoulders and has white streaks in it that didn’t appear until she joined the Ynnari.
History:
Wyvara was born on the Craftworld Ulthwé; renowned for their powerful seers and being the closest Craftworld to the Eye of Terror. Fairly early on she set out on the Path of the Musician, more specifically the Singer, which she pursued to perfection. She was in danger of being lost on the Path until reality hammered in with a Chaos invasion. Though repelled, she lost her mother to it. This raid woke her to a new drive to never see Chaos destroy any more lives. While setting out to become a Bonesinger to repair the damages dealt by the constant invasions, she also enlisted into the Black Guardians, a group unique to Ulthwé who are a standing army of Guardians who are always ready to defend the Craftworld.
As Wyvara fought over the decades she slowly grew dissatisfied as, to her, they were always on the defensive or fighting only for survival. She wanted to be more proactive and fight back against Chaos. With this in mind, she decided to follow the Path of the Seer. Going down this path taught her patience and allowed her to find ways to help her people and strike at Chaos. She became a Farseer and led minor excursions, but was never a big leader and she still felt they were only delaying the inevitable.
That all changed when the Ynnari appeared before the Seer’s Council of Ulthwé. The events that happened there saw Eldrad Ulthran, the High Farseer of Ulthwé, exiled and the Ynnari forced to go into the Eye of Terror to never return. While what Eldrad did was terrible, Wyvara saw that the Ynnari were attempting the unthinkable to achieve a worthy goal: the death of Slaanesh and uniting the Aeldari people. She didn’t go with them because she was still unsure about them, especially because of the lengths Eldrad went to wake Ynnead and the breaking of Biel-Tan. However, her mind was made when the Ynnari appeared to defend Ulthwé after the Craftworld sent all of its Warhosts to stem the Chaos boiling from the Dathedian (the Aeldari name for the Great Rift). After they fended off the daemons Wyvara abandoned her Craftworld and joined the disciples of Ynnead.
Though the presence of Drukhari and the practices dealing with the dead were unnerving, Wyvara managed to fit in and her skills in divination were welcomed. As she worked in the group and tried to learn the new Revenant psychic discipline she had a vision of a human farm world surrounded by a Warp storm, assaulted by Chaos, and bearing potential ties to the Aeldari. It all seemed to point to the system potentially having a big splash in the future. Seeing an opportunity to not only actively alter the future for the better but also discover potential Aeldari connections while also sticking it to Chaos, Wyvara obtained permission from Yvraine to pursue this course of action. Given a small bodyguard, she got a Harlequin guide to take her to the system via a forgotten part of the Webway. She set foot on Haven’s Garden and now watches from the shadows as she formulates her next move.
Personality:
If Wyvara can be described in one word it would be graceful. She can dance her way through tough situations, be it negotiations or combat, with considerable poise and a little playfulness. Detractors say that her meddling into these situations can do more harm than good, calling it the "Ulthwé" in her, and she admits that sometimes her dabbling can sometimes do more harm than good. However, she tries to combat any trouble she confronts with powerful yet words and actions, punctuated with a little flair. She's patient with people and tries to be an empathetic presence, but she can't standby and watch things happen when she knows she can do something about it.
Wyvara loves music, particularly singing, and weaves it into her speech, fights, and even spells. She views it as a guiding and uniting force while allowing her to project confidence and assurance even when she's lacking in both. Some would say she would have made a good Harlequin if fate didn’t guide her down a different path. She follows the Ynnari not out of any sense of devotion because she believes they are the only ones actively doing anything to stop Chaos and unite the divided Aeldari. Being one who likes to be proactive, she finds that their goals align for she finds most other Aeldari, be they Craftworlders or Drukhari, are either too selfish, caught up in grudges or reclaiming past glory, or can’t see beyond simply surviving.
