Outside her office was the hustle and bustle of organized madness. A conference room contorted and twisted into a war room for the Astra Militarum. It was always busy, and in the past few days had grown more so. But here in her commandeered office (It once belonged to a now-dead adjutant to the Governor), Colonel Quentin Everly sat reading reports and sending off messages, ensuring that the vast organization under her watch continued to limp along. She was not a large woman, nor terribly imposing. Frankly, she most often appeared as though a middle-aged school teacher had carefully put on a stoic uniform, and was grading papers in a warzone. She'd scheduled a block of time in the next three hours for interviews and reports having to do with the Black Market operation. She had brief after-action reports, and more written reports were coming in sporadically. But still, considering how it had reportedly went down, she wanted to ensure she kept up to date with any long-lasting effects from the event.
((Belatedly, as I seem to be making a habit of, hopefully going to break said habit as well. This thread is intended as an after-action thread for the Reconnaissance in Force plot thread! If your character wishes to discuss concerns with Colonel Everly or any other staff officers, feel free to toss them in! If you'd prefer you can also post any written reports/communication penned by your character, or you can pm it to myself or one of the other admins and we can log it without posting the specific text. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to do something specific in regards to after-action incidents from the Plot thread. Outside of her office are two Steel Legionnaires standing guard as part of her personal protection, They will of course allow anyone in with an appointment, and you need not wait on a gm post to have your character enter, unless they're trying to sneak it
